Symphony on the Farm was held on August 12, and was a delightful evening that too many people missed.
The dinner in the main farmhouse was a wonderfully prepared taste of local cuisine – locally grown, locally prepared, and locally eaten!
The ensemble from the Richmond Symphony in the open air amphitheater couldn’t have been better – a great selection of fun songs played much as they would have been played in the mid 1800s. Each set of songs was artfully introduced giving us educational information about the culture of the northern and southern sectors of the U.S.A. And the weather was terrific.
Proceeds benefitted both the Three Valley Conservation Trust and the Preble County Historical Society.
