The Founder’s Day picnic lunch and celebration will be on Saturday, May 6th from 12:00-2:00pm at the picnic shelter in Leonard Howell Park.  All are welcome to attend this event! Participants will be able to see current restoration progress at the Helen S. Ruder Nature Preserve as well as Phase I of the OATS trail, which is under construction at Leonard Howell. The Ruder Preserve was donated in 1996 to Four Mile Valley Conservation Trust by Helen Ruder’s daughters: Ann Bever, Margaret Fuller and Elizabeth Wile. Additionally, there will be a tree dedication to honor Orie Loucks, a TVCT founder.

The main dish for the picnic will be provided! Any potluck dishes are greatly appreciated! Excellent tasting bottled water from the City of Hamilton will be available from a generous donation from the city!

Leonard Howell Park is located on Bonham Road- a map of the area is available here.
