2022 Highlights

  • Closed two easements protecting an additional 92 acres (over 24,500 acres now protected by TVCT).  One agricultural easement funded by the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) LAEPP program and a donated easement that protected mitigation wetlands at the Molson Coors Trenton Brewery.
  • Submitted ten applications for federally-funded (NRCS) easements and eleven applications for state-funded (ODA) easements.
  • Currently have six pending easements.  Two donated conservation easements, two agricultural easements funded through the NRCS ACEP-ALE program, and two agricultural easements funded through ODA's LAEPP program.
  • Secured funding from Ohio Environmental Protection Agency on behalf of the Fernald Natural Resource Damage Trustees to install an 11.2 acre wetland on a TVCT agricultural easement in Butler County.  The wetland will expand vital amphibian breeding habitat in the area and reduce nonpoint source pollution.
