'Save an Acre' Program

Ever wish you could permanently conserve scenic vistas, rural settings, and wildlife habitat for just a fraction of what it would cost to purchase the land outright? Through this program, you can save an acre with every hundred dollars you contribute. You will receive a handsome certificate commemorating your gift and documenting the number of acres you've helped conserve. In turn, Three Valley Conservation Trust can preserve additional acreage in southwest Ohio in perpetuity.

Please click here to download an information sheet.

Planned Gifts

Three Valley Conservation Trust offers a planned giving program that provides lifetime income and substantial tax deductions to donors in exchange for charitable gift annuities, deferred gift annuities, gifts to a charitable remainder trust or gifts to a pooled income fund.

Donations can also be made to the Trust through charitable bequests in wills or through inclusion in the donor's retirement plan. You may name Three Valley Conservation Trust as the beneficiary of any amount remaining in your IRA, 403(b), 401(k), Keogh, or other qualified retirement plan after your death.

Although the Trust does not benefit during your lifetime, planned giving is a tremendous opportunity to leave a legacy of protection for open space, farmland, water quality, and wildlife habitat.

Please click here to read a brochure on planned giving options.

Other Gifts

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many employers match charitable gifts made by their employees, allowing you to leverage your contribution to Three Valley Conservation Trust. To participate in your employer's matching gifts program, request the appropriate form, complete the employee information, and mail the form to the Trust office for processing.

Gift Memberships

A membership to Three Valley Conservation Trust is the ideal gift for the person who already has just about everything. Honor your family and friends with a unique gift that has a lasting impact on our community.

Memorial and Honor Gifts

Celebrate the memory of a loved one with a memorial contribution, or recognize a special someone with an honorary donation. A gift in memory or honor creates a living legacy of conserving the natural environment and cultural heritage of southwest Ohio.

For Honorary gifts, the Trust will send an acknowledgement to the honoree; for Memorial gifts, an acknowledgement will be sent to the family. To make either gift, please provide the name(s) of those you are honoring or memorializing and the name(s) and address(es) of the person(s) to receive the letter of acknowledgement, and mail your contribution to the Trust office.

Gifts of Stock

Giving a gift of appreciated stock may be better than cash for some donors. When giving gifts of appreciated stock, you may avoid paying capital gains taxes and receive an income tax charitable deduction for the appreciated value of the stock.

Donations

Three Valley Conservation Trust depends on the generosity of community members and businesses for the items used in our auctions and other fundraising events. Please consider donating quality, sound goods you no longer need, as well as services, trips, and gift certificates.

Please click here for a list of donation ideas.

Kroger Gift Card Program

If you shop at Kroger, you can earn donations for the Trust simply by paying for your groceries using a Kroger Gift Card. The process is easy and costs nothing above the normal price of groceries. Shoppers put money on a gift card at the store's customer service desk, and Kroger pays 4% of that amount to the Trust. Anyone — members or nonmembers — may participate in the program. To get your card, call the Trust office to have a card mailed to you.

Please click here to read a brochure about Kroger Gift Cards.
