Ruder Preserve – A BIG WEEK OF RESTORATION!

Ruder Preserve work day in February 2017

We have  a couple of really big weeks coming up for getting things done at Ruder Preserve.  And we really need chain saw operators – if you can help out, please email Donna McCollum at mccollds@miamioh.edu or Mark Boardman at markboardman@mac.com.  We also are in dire need of people who know how to plant trees – we have about 150-200 to plant in the next couple weeks and not everyone has planted trees before!  If you know what you’re doing you will increase the trees’ chances for survival!

So please come join us and help in whatever way you can – chain saw, applying herbicide to stumps, hauling honeysuckle, planting trees, making cages for trees, bringing/serving food, or even just taking some “action” pictures.  Thanks in advance!
